Shevet Egoz is proud to be part of Hanhagat Tzabar - the Scouts movement (FOIS). After 10 years of independent operations, we returned to our origin under an organization that reflects our values and strengthens our actions.

The Shevet is part of Hanhagat "Tzabar" - the Hebrew Scouts leadership in North America. Today, there are about 26 Tzabar chapters scattered from Toronto in Canada to San Diego in Southern California. In total, Hanhagat Tzabar includes over 4,000 members!

The Scouts movement is a global social, non-partisan movement aimed at developing young people physically and spiritually so that the youth can take a more purposeful place in society. This goal is achieved through non-formal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities in nature. The movement was founded in 1907 by Robert Baden-Powell, a lieutenant-general in the British army. Today, the movement includes over 38 million members in 217 countries and territories.

The Hebrew Scouts movement is the largest youth movement in Israel and is based on the values of Zionism and the scout's code - helping others, comradeship, equality, and more. The Scouts is a secular and non-political youth movement that opens its gates to anyone touched by the Israeli spirit. The activities are conducted in Hebrew with an Israeli spirit.
